Key Responsibilities:


  • Category Strategy & P&L Ownership
  • Own the strategic planning and financial performance (GMV, contribution margin, sell-through) of the Home Décor category.
  • Set category-level OKRs based on business goals, customer insights, and sales trends.
  • Assortment Planning & Product Lifecycle
  • Define and continuously optimize product assortment across price tiers, trends, and functional segments.
  • Partner with internal buying or sourcing teams to curate private label or in-house ranges.
  • Monitor product performance, manage new launches, and drive end-of-life planning.
  • View Planning & Digital Merchandising
  • Lead View Planning across homepage, category landing pages, and campaign modules.
  • Develop curated product stories (e.g., seasonal trends, style edits, room-specific inspiration).
  • Collaborate with creative and content teams to ensure visual excellence and consistency.
  • Pricing & Promotions
  • Set pricing strategy informed by competitive benchmarks and price elasticity.
  • Build promotional plans around events, themes, and customer insights (e.g., festive décor, minimalism, boho vibes).
  • Customer Journey & Platform Experience
  • Optimize category navigation, filters, and product discovery paths.
  • Work closely with product and UX teams to enhance the user journey and click-to-conversion ratios.

  • Performance Tracking & Insights
  • Track key metrics: GMV, page views, CTRs, conversion, returns, inventory aging.
  • Build dashboards and reports to inform short-term actions and long-term strategy.


Required Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Retail, Design, or related field; MBA preferred.
  • 6+ years of experience in category management, digital merchandising, or product curation—ideally in home décor, lifestyle, or D2C e-commerce.
  • Strong proficiency in Excel, analytics platforms (Power BI/Tableau), and view planning tools (CMS or merchandising dashboards).

Deep understanding of digital customer behavior and e-commerce best practices.
